Reflex-Rol (UK) supplied bespoke anti-glare roller blinds for the air traffic control tower at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi’s primary gateway set within flat lowland terrain north of the city. The airport handles dense international, domestic, and military traffic, with frequent movements across multiple runways in humid, high-glare conditions. Reflex-Rol blinds were engineered to manage intense tropical sunlight, cloud-bright skies, and reflective apron surfaces while maintaining clear outward visibility. Custom-fitted to inclined tower glazing, the system reduces solar heat gain, improves thermal comfort, and minimises visual fatigue, enabling controllers to maintain awareness and safe, efficient air traffic operations.
