Reflex-Rol (UK) supplied and installed bespoke anti-glare roller blinds for the air traffic control tower at RAF Kinloss, a military airfield exposed to strong coastal light, variable weather, and low-angle sun. The project required dependable glare and heat control while maintaining uninterrupted visibility across runways and operational areas. Each blind was custom-engineered to suit the tower’s inclined and trapezoidal glazing and specified for durability in demanding conditions. The Reflex-Rol system reduces solar gain, improves thermal comfort, and limits visual fatigue, supporting accurate decision-making and safe, continuous airfield operations within this mission-critical defence environment year-round.
