Reflex-Rol (UK) supplied and installed bespoke anti-glare roller blinds for the air traffic control tower at Zurich International Airport, located within a broad valley framed by the Alps and Lake Zurich. The airport manages complex runway configurations, mixed long-haul, regional, and general aviation traffic, and strict noise-managed flight paths. Controllers experience strong low-angle sun, bright cloud, and reflected glare from snow and wet pavements. Reflex-Rol blinds were engineered to control glare and heat while preserving clear, distortion-free visibility.
